Premium Aqua is naturally sourced from underground reservoirs or springs, while other packaged drinking water can be derived from surface water, treated tap water, or other sources.
Mineral Content:
Premium Aqua is characterized by its naturally occurring mineral content, which is typically higher than that of tap water.
Treatment:
Premium Aqua undergoes minimal or no treatment beyond filtration to remove impurities, while other packaged waters may undergo more extensive treatment processes, such as chlorination or reverse osmosis.
Regulations:
Packaged drinking water (other than natural mineral water) is water derived from surface water or underground water or seawater which is subjected to herein under specified treatments.
Standards:
According to the Food and Drug Administration (FDA), mineral water must contain at least 250 parts per million of total dissolved solids.
